A little about me…

A lot about art…

Art is deeply personal. It is where we meet the innermost parts of our being. It is the visual vocabulary of our stories. Art gives us perspective. In a dance between beauty and hard truths, it’s endlessly versatile and wildly creative.

My expression is fulfilled through pen and ink, tattooing, painting and printmaking.

The concept of being an observer is a running theme in all of my work, by focusing attention to intricate details.

I was born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. I was pretty much born with a pencil and paintbrush in my hand. I never remember a moment without art. Art is how I understood, processed, appreciated the world around me. My journey continued through my careers, from the coffee industry to being an art teacher at Santa Cruz Montessori School. Now, I find myself at The Gallery Tattoos- mainly working with humans as my canvas.

Whether you’re looking for a tattoo, a graphic, painting or mural; I’m here to help you tell your story.

“The artist must train not only his eye,

but also his soul”

— Wassily Kandinsky
